The 22 month-old Parmigiano Reggiano Parmareggio is produced in dairies located in the heart of the production area of Parmigiano Reggiano (North of Italy). The 22 months old is a cheese with a rich and harmonised taste, featuring a granular texture and the right balance between friability and solubility.
The flavour of this cheese is distinctive, with notes of melted butter, fresh fruit and citrus fruits as well as overtones of dried fruit.
