A delegation of Ukrainian exporters is participating in SIAL Paris 2022, to showcase a variety of their products, such as: berry and fruit purees, juices, jams, sauces and snacks, dried fruits and berries, fruit and berry candies, bars and pastille, berry pastes, encapsulated fruit and nut oils, sun-dried tomatoes, jams, pastille, frozen and freeze-dry berries, juice concentrates, cornel products, inshell and shelled walnuts and hazelnuts, both conventional and organic. Professional horticulture associations will also participate in the trade fair and represent a wider group of Ukrainian growers and exporters.

Ukraine is one of the largest and most fertile countries in Europe. About 70 percents of its territory is devoted to agriculture. Favourable climate and location, modern agricultural methods and processes contribute to the production of a range of products of outstanding taste and quality. Every year, more and more Ukrainian fruits and berries reach new buyers from all over the world. Ukraine is an important player in the global food security system. All Ukrainian production facilities have certified HACCP systems. Most producers hold GlobalG.A.P. certificates, or are in the process of obtaining them.

The delegation of Ukrainian exporters is supported by the project of the International Trade Centre (ITC) “Linking Ukrainian SMEs in the Fruits and Vegetables Sector to Global and Domestic Markets and Value Chains” (http://tradeproject.com.ua), funded by Sweden. ITC is the joint agency of the World Trade Organization and the United Nations. It enables small business export success by providing sustainable and inclusive trade development solutions to the private sector, trade support institutions and policymakers.
