We were born in 1995 from the heart and mind of Federico Ballandi, always at the head of the company with the partners Gianluca Goldoni and Stefano Trecchi. The need to express the idea of a shirt that rests delicately on the skin, with touch and contact, inspired the name. However, today, Kontatto is not only knitwear, but a company specializing in the production and distribution of women’s clothing 100% made in Italy. Our head office has always been located in the Centergross of Bologna, a strategic hub for trade and fashion economy. We are driven by passion, energy, intuition, the ability to adapt to and anticipate trends. Today as yesterday.

Our product development policy is based on three pillars: creativity, quality, variety. We combine the finesse of Italian materials and attention to detail with the imagination of the style office, which relies on talented designers and spotting sessions between London, Tokyo, New York and Seoul to capture international trends and reinterpret them. We offer our customers a very wide choice of clothing throughout the year: in addition to the two usual collections (which start for spring/summer and autumn/winter), flash capsules and novelties enrich each week the catalog. Target? A total look in line with the style of the moment and accessible to the public, which includes not only clothes but also bags, shoes and accessories.
