Macé's HPP Natural Wellness line of fresh fruit extracts and functional drinks is designed to meet specific consumer needs and offer them a healthy and tasty solution to improve their overall well-being. Def. Functional drinks (or functional foods) are those products with health benefits that go beyond their nutritional value. Thanks to HPP stabilisation technology, we are able to use fruit as is to produce real natural supplements. Unlike pasteurisation, HPP's non-thermal treatment preserves most of the nutrients in the fruit. The addition of functional ingredients and superfoods makes these drinks and extracts unique. We can define the references in this line as fruit-uticals, i.e. functional products that use the nutritional properties of fruit to treat and prevent specific ailments. Furthermore, compared to products currently on the market, the entire line is without added sugars or sweeteners. The sugars in the products are exclusively those found in the fruit from which the juices are extracted.
