It all began with Hélène, Philippe and Bernard, a trio of hair rock stars. After touring France by moped, car and van to market their handcrafted costume jewelry, the close-knit trio ended up in Normandy by chance and created the Taratata brand in 1986. The story begins in a busy garage, where the days begin and end at dawn, with the team hard at work. Gradually, the garage is transformed into a magnificent workshop, the executive secretary, the fax machine and the first cell phone make their appearance, and Taratata becomes an essential part of the costume jewelry world.
