VEN POULTRY BV

Flashback: it’s 1949 and Mr. Van der Ven Senior founds Ven Poultry. At the time, its live poultry business was mainly focused on exporting to Italy. Transport was by train, in private wagons (1960). Times changed and the late 1970s saw the transition to truck transportation. In the early 1980s, Ven Poultry sold its live and slaughtered poultry products internationally.

Over time, the demand for frozen poultry products has steadily increased, to the point that today Ven Poultry has become one of the largest importers and exporters in the sector.
